Inter Great Employment is a maid agency in Singapore licensed by the Ministry of Manpower under EA Licence 14C6931, placing helpers from Indonesia, the Philippines and Myanmar with families across the island. We have three branches you can walk into, in Ang Mo Kio, Katong and Bugis. Tell us what a normal week looks like in your home and a consultant will tell you what the job actually needs.
Every agency website in Singapore says the same four things: experienced, caring, professional, good value. None of it is checkable, and none of it helps you decide. Meanwhile the decision itself is one of the largest you will make about your household, because the person you place is going to be in your home with your children or your parents every day.
So families end up choosing on price, or on whichever office they happened to walk past. Both are poor proxies. What follows is what we are, stated plainly enough that you can check it, and what the hiring actually involves.
Four things are verifiable before you hand over any money. If you would rather work through the checks in detail, including how to read MOM's directory, that is set out on our helper agency in Singapore page.
We do not publish a single package price, because no agency can quote you honestly without knowing the case. What we do is give you every line item in writing before you commit, and tell you which lines are payable to us and which are payable to somebody else.
Monthly, you carry her salary, the MOM levy at the concessionary rate if your household qualifies, mandatory medical and personal accident insurance, her food and accommodation, and her rest day or compensation in lieu where she agrees in writing.
One-off, you carry our placement fee, the 5,000 dollar security bond which most families cover with a bond insurance policy rather than cash, MOM work permit application and issuance fees, the medical examination, the Settling-in Programme for a first-time helper, and deployment costs where she is coming from overseas. A fuller breakdown is on our maid agency fees and cost of hiring a maid pages.
Check your levy concession before you hire. If your household has a child under 16, a person aged 67 or above, or a person with disabilities, you are generally eligible for the concessionary rate, and it is not applied automatically.
We hold all three source countries, which is the only reason we can recommend one against the others rather than instead of them.
You can walk into any of the three without an appointment during business hours.
Timelines depend on the source country and on MOM processing. A transfer helper already in Singapore is the fastest route. A first-time helper deploying from overseas takes longer, and your consultant will give you the current range for the country you choose rather than a number that ages badly on a web page.
Awards and independent listings, none of which we wrote ourselves.
Inter Great also received the Best Maid Agency Award from Parents World in 2017, and was named a Top 500 Emerging Business in Singapore in 2018.

Sometimes a placement does not work, and how an agency handles that month is a fairer test of it than how it handled the sale. Our replacement terms are set out in writing, in plain language, before you sign, and your consultant will walk you through what is included, what voids it and what a replacement costs you. Ask us for them at the first meeting rather than after.
Come into Ang Mo Kio, Katong or Bugis, or send us what you need and a consultant will come back to you during business hours.
Search MOM's Employment Agency Directory at mom.gov.sg. Every licensed agency is listed with its licence number, its demerit points, its placement volume and its helper retention and transfer rates. Inter Great's licence is 14C6931. The retention rate is the most useful figure there, because it is the one measure the agency cannot write itself.
There are two groups. Monthly: her salary, the MOM levy, mandatory medical and personal accident insurance, her food and accommodation, and her rest day or compensation in lieu. One-off: the agency placement fee, the 5,000 dollar security bond which is usually covered by an insurance policy, MOM work permit fees, the medical examination, the Settling-in Programme for a first-time helper, and deployment costs from overseas. We give you every line in writing before you commit.
A transfer helper already in Singapore is the fastest route and can start in weeks. A first-time helper deploying from overseas takes longer, and the range depends on the source country and on MOM processing at the time. Your consultant will give you the current range rather than a fixed promise.
Our replacement terms are given to you in writing before you sign. They set out the length of the period, what is included, what voids it and what you pay if a replacement is triggered. Ask for them at the first meeting so you are comparing us on the same basis as anyone else.
For a transfer helper already in Singapore, yes, in person. For a helper deploying from overseas, you meet her by video interview before you decide, and we will tell you what to ask about the specific job in your household rather than in general.
We place helpers from Indonesia, the Philippines and Myanmar. Indonesian helpers suit households where Malay or dialect matters and local cooking is expected. Filipino helpers suit households needing strong English for schools, doctors and work calls. Myanmar helpers suit households that can carry a longer training ramp in the first months. The right answer depends on your week, not on a ranking.
